New Starbucks

I know that there exists out there in the blogoshpere a certain distaste for the wal-martization of the coffee shop market by Starbucks.  I know that they tend to not blend in with the architecture and style of the local neighborhood they invade.  But I love the coffe and have found nothing that compares in quality and taste.  I am a purist and stick with the bold coffee of the day, never ordering the fancy drinks.  I’m thrilled to see this one coming into my neighborhood and look forward to hanging out there.  While in line, I ran into Robert Trudeau, whom I recently discovered and whose art I enjoy.

Thanks for hailing me, John. I’d like to second your thoughts on Starbucks. And I must say I’m looking forward to meeting you there with General Palaver.

I hate Wal-Mart primarily because of the way they treat their employees, and Starbucks doesn’t have that problem. They have some of the best opportunities and benefits I’ve ever heard of from a chain store.
