Maggie Lee for Good home in Haiti’

This past October, a caring and generous donor provided for a new home to be built in Haiti’.  The donation was made to the Maggie Lee Henson for Good Fund at Community Foundation of Shreveport.  Community Foundation made the donation to the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, who works with Conscience International to build homes from the rubble.  The houses you see in the video are all made from the rubble from the earthquake.  While I have no way of knowing, t is exciting to think that one of them might be the one built as result of Maggie Lee for Good.  She would be so excited to see it and there’s no doubt she would outwork that reporter with the hammer.

Read more about these houses and how to participate with the Haiti Housing Network here.

See video here (sorry, it wouldn’t imbed here)
